Picked up a 78' swing arm & wheel, so the rear of the bike will now have a disc instead of the old drum.
We had to shorten the caliper stay rod & make a new rear mount for it to make sure there was enough clearance for suspension travel since the bike is now much lower than stock.
Made a new battery box. Used a part from the original box to give us more area to bolt stuff to under the seat. There is less room in the area under the seat because the top frame rails are much lower than stock. So, the battery had to be moved down. Still need to clean up the welds & get it welded into the frame. The battery will be mounted sideways to make room for the rear master cylinder.
As soon as the battery box is welded in the frame will be able to be stripped, sanded and prepped for paint.
